Marcos Órdenes leads the Ad Sales team for Mexico at Netflix, playing a crucial role in defining and implementing strategies for this new business area. With over 15 years of international business development experience, he has a proven track record of leading and transforming teams and projects.
Before Netflix, Marcos spent 10 years at Google, where he was the Regional Country Manager for Waze in Latin America and led strategic monetization partnerships in Dublin for Southern Europe and the Middle East. His leadership spans various sectors, including renewable energy, strategic consulting, international relations, and Tech/digital, with experience in countries like South Africa, Sweden, Ireland, Spain, and Mexico.
Marcos has been recognized with awards such as Cannes Lions, Effies, Smarties, and Círculo de Creativos for his innovative and effective advertising campaigns. He holds a degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid and two master's degrees in Public Economics and International Trade. Recently, he became certified as a Google Cloud Digital Leader.
Beyond his professional achievements, Marcos is passionate about cinema, enjoying a wide range of genres and actively participating in film festivals.
