Gerardo Adame

Gerardo Adame was a pioneer in Mexico in developing digital advertising and e-commerce with the launch and operation of these platforms at Terra.

He later transformed Terra’s portals across the continent to profitability, focusing on growing the audience and digital ad sales.

He was also a pioneer in Digital Signage, developing and operating a private television channel for one of the country’s leading banks, featuring editorial and advertising content in over 1,200 branches.

As General Manager of Terra Mexico, he led the company to be recognized by the Great Place to Work Institute as one of the top 5 companies to work for in the country, five years in a row.

In his entrepreneurial role, he helped some of the country’s major media outlets develop their digital strategy, supporting technology, content, audience, social media, and advertising areas.

Since 2022, he joined Walmart Mexico and Central America as the leader of the company's advertising business vertical, Walmart Connect, where he leads a team of over 200 people and continues positioning the vertical as the most relevant Omnichannel Retail Media in Mexico.
