AW Partners With The UNCF & National Urban League To Provide Education & Career Opportunities For HBCU Students

New York, NY –September 25, 2020:   Advertising Week (AW), the world’s largest annual gathering of brand, content creators, creative, entertainment, marketing, media and technology industry leaders announces ambitious partnership with UNCF for AW2020, Advertising Week’s global virtual event, September 29 – October 8, 2020.
Championing Equality & Fostering Community: In partnership with the UNCF, AW2020 will offer complimentary access for students and recent graduates from HBCUs.  Attendees will receive a curated schedule of programming to focus in on key career opportunities, coupled with skills-based trainings, shareable education badges and facilitated discussions with industry professionals.  
Following the event, in partnership with the Laugh Out Loud, Advertising Week will work with the UNCF and National Urban League to connect students & recent graduates with professional sponsors/mentors who will help guide them in their career.  This program is a direct action from Advertising Week’s ‘A Town Hall for Change’ held in June.
