Andy Muschietti is a visionary filmmaker best known for directing the global hits IT and IT: Chapter Two, which together grossed $1.17 billion worldwide. Alongside his sister Barbara, he is expanding the IT franchise with the HBO prequel series Welcome to Derry. Muschietti made his feature debut with the horror hit MAMA and recently directed The Flash (2023). In 2021, he co-founded the production company Double Dream, and in 2024, he launched the genre label Nocturna with Skydance. Muschietti's career began in Buenos Aires, where he directed award-winning commercials and studied at FUC.
